Review - Magic Kittyware Collar

As some of you might know, I am always on the lookout for cute collars for Isabella. Last year, while I was searching for her Christmas collar, I stumbled upon a wonderful website called Magic Kittyware. It is a local online store that stocks the cutest collars ever just for cats. I was in heaven! I had been saving up to try and get a whole bunch for cute collars, but you should have assumed by now that when you have spending problems, like I do, it can be very hard to save money. I’m surprised that I even managed to save some money for Wodac this weekend!
I broke down and decided I couldn’t go on a spending spree for collars and I would have to just get one to try out, and if Isabella and I both liked them, then I could always buy more. It was so hard to pick one from my very long wish list that I had created on the website. It took forever to decide. I eventually got her a bowtie. I knew she would probably hate it, and Ray would kill me, but they are so darn cute! I also got her a cute pink candy striped collar.
Due to the fact that the collars are all imported and custom made, they do not keep tons of stock, so if the product says, “In Stock”, you good to go, but if it says, “Available to back order”, you will have to wait 4-6 weeks for the item to arrive from the USA. Two days later, our order arrived in a box with the cutest little sticker of ‘Magic’ the kitty on it.
The bowtie is fabulous! It has the smallest little elastic band on the back, so it slips right onto the cats collar, but it is also tight enough that it doesn’t really slip around once it is on either. It is the perfect size for cats too. I was worried that it would be way too big and she would just be annoyed with it, but it’s not.
The collar is divine!! Isabella absolutely loves this collar. The size is just perfect. Most times, cat collars come in the weirdest of sizes, as if the people who make them have never seen a cat before. It is also adjustable, so that if it doesn’t fit, you can change it to fit. Sometimes you get these adjustable collars but they are so stiff, or have been sitting for so long that when you change the size, the collar is in an odd shape and you can never get it to lay nicely. The Magic Kittyware collar is nothing like that. Once you adjust the size, the collar is still a lovely round shape and fits your cat nicely.
The other great part about the collar is the bell. I know it’s odd, but just hear why. I have three peeves when it comes to bells on a cat’s collar. 1) The loop it is on it is too big, and the bell hangs in your cat’s food all the time. It gets so stinky, or when it isn’t on a loop at all, it’s on a rectangle thing that holds the collar together and there is no space at all for the name tag. 2) The bell is just way too loud. We live in a very small house, and everytime she moves, we hear the bell 24/7. Some of them even wake us up at night. I can only imagine how annoying it must be for them. 3) When the bell’s colour starts to wear off because of her name tag hitting against it, all the time. It just lands up looking tacky. So yes, the bell is great. It’s not loud at all, it’s a perfect size round loop, and the still looks brand new.
Isabella has not once tried to attack the collar on her.
She will let you leave the bowtie on the collar, and she doesn’t chew on it or scratch at it.
When you take the collar off her, she will pick it up and walk around the house with it in her mouth.
It is easy to get on and off.
It is safe.
It looks great.
It is soft and comfortable

What is not to love about these collars and the bowtie? Nothing! Thank you Magic Kittyware for the amazing items and I cannot wait to buy some more, once I have paid off my debt from Wodac this weekend! I highly recommend all cat owners, new and old, to get your kitty one of these collars right now!
