When you have a little furchild in your home, you know when they are teething! Isabella chews on anything laying around, from shoes to tissues, from the bath plug to the balcony railing. Greenies, mentioned in my earlier post, are good for them to chew on and help get their loose teeth out. But how can your help take care of your cats teeth once they have their adult teeth?
Besides brushing and feeding them food designed for dental health you can provide your cat with toys that are safe to chew and assist with reducing tartar and that massages gums. Petstages has a specially developed dental range for cats. Broken into three categories;

The Mint Stick is filled with mint leafs which is from the catnip family. I had bought this for Truffle (My mom’s Burmese) last year at the Wodac Pet Expo as she has always had a bit of “funk” to her breathe. She did not chew on it enough to help, but she does love the smell of the mint and plays with the toy.
