Isabella - 7 Month Birthday

So good to be back on here! Mom has really been cramping up my style with all the pet product reviews but hey, it means she will have to keep spoiling me in order to have things to review.

I turned 7 months old this week and it is really showing. Mom says I’m getting rounder in the middle – I say I’m getting cuddlier for winter. I’m getting much darker on my ears and back and my fur is also getting longer in places like my neck, legs and tail. The parents weighed me the other day and I have put on 1.5kg’s in the last month which also means I have gotten a lot bigger.

I got a Petstages Green Magic Mightie Mouse for my birthday. It is filled with so much catnip it makes me act crazy, I love it! I like chewing on it while I kick at it with my back legs like a bunny.

Along with a lot of growing I have also been a bit under the weather the past few weeks as I had a bit of a tummy bug. Breeder Bev told the parents to jack up their game and start feeding me steamed chicken breasts as it is less rich and easier on my tummy. They also swapped out my normal Hills Ideal Balance™ Chicken & Brown Rice with Hill's® Prescription Diet® i/d® Feline Gastrointestinal Health.

I am loving the new food. I know when mom takes the pot out that she is going to make me chicken and I sit on the counter and watch her cook my food. Youn can never trust these slaves. I know I will need to go back on my normal food soon as I am much better after going to the vet. He gave me an antibiotic injection, and mommy said I was very good and let me sit outside on my bench all afternoon. It was so nice having her home early.

Mommy normally feeds me Simply Pets Raw Chicken Mince because this is what I started eating when I was a baby. I get this in the morning and a half a Kitten Fancy Treat at night but now mom thinks she should try put me on something different, what do you furrends eat?

When I was not feeling well, mom went and bought me some new toys, as every sick child should get. I got the Petstages Cat Cuddle Coil , Kong Crinkle Fish and a blue Chicken feather refill for my ZA Bird. All these toys are amazing, but the Cuddle Coil is my best. It is a material tunnel, but it is only open on the one side so it’s more of a tunnel to hide in. I love laying inside and waiting for dad to scratch on the outside and I pounce, or someone walks past and I know they don’t know I am in there so I jump out and bite their ankles. Hahaha silly humans. The ZA Bird is always fun but mom doesn’t take it out too often because I get super wild and start climbing the curtains. Isn’t that what they are there for, right? I also love the Crinkle Fish because I am a sucker for feathers and these little fish have very nice, long feathers for tails and they are small enough for me to carry them around in my mouth.

After all the toys and spoils, the vet visit too, I am feeling much better and I’m back to being a wild African cat. Mom let me go out for a walk on the weekend and I spent time sitting in a tree talking to an old lady and then I come home and I got a bath and a blow wave so I look super cute now.
