Treats Review - Greenies

This will be our first kitty review on our blog.
I wanted to start doing reviews on cat products because for the past few months, I have been going into every pet store I pass to see if there are any new and exciting things I may have not seen before. I have also found myself researching a lot of things and asking around what other people think about products and have been coming up empty.

I feel as though South Africa is a dog dominated country as there is anything and everything for dogs when you are looking for Christmas related toys from treats to collars. According to Roberto A. Ferdman and Christopher Ingraham, South Africa has 9.1 million dogs to 2.4 million cats.
I want to make the change and give all my fellow cat lovers access to great reviews and advice when it comes to cat products.
One of the things I asked around about were cat treats. I have seen many of our Instagram friends have many different cat treats overseas and it made me curious to try this out. Then, when Isabella started losing her baby teeth, her gums were so itchy and sore that she was chewing on anything and everything she could get in her mouth.
I had posted on Facebook asking what the best way would be to help her get the loose teeth out and Bev (Isabella’s Breeder) responded and saying that Greenies are the best for loose teeth.
The next day, I went to our local pet supply store and got myself a bag of Savoury Salmon Greenies. I remember buying my cat, at my parents, something similar a while ago and they thought I had lost my mind! So, I did not expect Isabella to even blink an eye at the treats, but it was worth a try.
I decided that it would be best to give her one before dinner as she would be expecting something to eat. I put it down in front of her and pointed, first she thought it was a new toy and started kicking it around but when she smelt it, she picked it up and gobbled it all down.
I was amazed! I did not expect her to love these as much as she did. Now, whenever I open her treat box and pull out the bag of Greenies, she comes running to get some.
These biscuit like treats are just slightly bigger than your normal cat pellet and have a unique shape. They help clean and maintain healthy teeth for you cat, especially if your cat is on a raw diet. Greenies contains no artificial flavours or preservatives and has a natural formula with added vitamins and minerals.

These wonderful treats come in 6 different flavours; Oven Roasted Chicken, Ocean Fish, Savoury Salmon, Tempting Tuna, Catnip, and Succulent Beef.
Isabella currently has a bag of Savoury Salmon and Ocean fish and she loves them both! I would highly recommend these treats for any cat owner. I give Isabella 2 - 3 a day, but not every day as they are for cats that are 1 year and older, but she manages them just fine.
I got mine from Twisted Whiskers in Hobart Shopping Centre for R95 Incl. VAT.
I hope you enjoyed my very first review as much as I had putting it together. Please feel free to leave comments.
