5 Months Old

It's is incredible how the time has flown! Isabella has just turned 5 months last weekend, and this weekend she has been with us for 2 months already. It seems like there was never a time without her.

She has lost all her baby teeth and has already got her big teeth well on their way. This is the first time I have ever seen a cat lose it's baby teeth; I even managed to save one. It is stressful seeing her trying to lose the teeth and not knowing how to help her. Greenies and pellets are the best way to get them out, but unfortunately they will swallow them this way, but it does help them.

She has made so many friends all over the world on Instagram. It is such a wonderful community with wonderful people and their furry friends.

Madam is a total spoilt brat. She has the best harnesses from Ballito, tons of toys from every pet store in Johannesburg, only the best food from Wilderness and custom made profile pictures from the USA.

Here are some of the facts that we were asked to share recently, I hope you enjoy.

1. My registered name is Ragtime Isabella, My parents chose Isabella. Ragtime is the name of the cattery I am from. I would have been Bellamy if I was a boy.

2. I was the only girl in my litter of 5. 4 brothers made me tough and outgoing.

3. Mommy and daddy waited 4 and a half months before they could take me home.

4. I live in Johannesburg, South Africa.

5. I love cheese and butter. Mommy shouts at me when I try to steal it off the counter.

6. I love climbing the curtains to catch flies

7. I am a 3rd generation pedigree Ragdoll - My mom is a great show cat.

8. I love climbing into little holes to hide.

9. I wake up at 05:30 every morning to wake daddy up to play with me.

10. When I am bored and have been inside too long, I run around like a crazy cat.

11. I love being around people and kids.

12. I love sitting outside on my bench.

13. I have a weird fascination with potatoes - I always sniff and try to bite them.

14. Mom is obsessed with putting collars on me. I don't mind, but sometimes I chew on them.

15. I am a Seal Bi-colour.

16. I have 3 scratch posts and I love each of them for different reasons.

17. I drink water out of the toilet.

18. I fart when you hold me on my back like a baby.

19. I love bathing my dad's toes.

20. I chew on everything.

21. I have a matching collars with my BFF (Best Friend Forever) Magnolia

22. I dont do a ragdoll flop, yet, but hopefully I will soon

23. When I purr, it sounds like im making popcorn.

24. When mom leaves for work, I try run out the door with her

25. My man crush is Finley. A Ragdoll Male cat that lives in the USA.

26. I love going to stay with my nanny and pa

27. I have 2 "sisters" and a "brother" that live with my granny.

28. I may be featured in a South African magazine in May

29. I love watching cricket with my daddy. I think it is beacause of that ball flying everywhere that is fun.

30. I love chewing on wires, but only mom's Apple ones. They are SO yummy!

31. Dad stepped on my one scratch post and broke it, but I still love it.

32. When humom does washing, I love sitting under it while it dries

33. I dont like it when the humans sweep the floor as the broom is my toy and not their's.

34. When mommy brushes me I have to bath at the same time, but mom gets cross as says it makes me curly

35. My daddy loves to make up songs and sing to me but he isnt very good. Hehe!

36. I love climbing into the cupboard to sit on daddy's cricket bag

37. I love climbing into mom's shoes and pulling out the soles.

38. I get excited when mom opens the freezer and I try climb into it because I think she is taking out more chicken mince for me.

39. Daddy calls me his slipper because when he rubs my tummy with his foot I hug him back and hang on like a fluffy slipper!
