So this past weekend we went for our first visit with our little Isabella. What an experience! The second we walked in all the moms were right there waiting to greet us and let's not forget Mr Coffee. The home that Beverly keeps these cats and kittens in is magnificent and it truly reflects in the cats open, friendly and loving nature.
Mr Coffee

Our little Bell was out in the garden with all her brothers, climbing trees, hiding in bushes, pouncing on each other and running through their play tunnel like a bunch of little wild things.

You could see straight away that each little kitten already has its own personality. Some of the boys were relaxed and easy going. Some wanted to come and meet you and say hi. But our little Isabella, my word, she is so small, fluffy and cute. And she knows it. Always having to get her last word in between all those big boys pushing her around but does she makes it worth it! You could see that she wanted to come and say hi but was still not to sure, so she watched us from the bushes for a while. We managed to pick her up and give her some cuddles for a bit but she then wanted to go and play in her tunnel. She is so lucky to have an amazing family between all the moms taking turns to feed and look after her, her brothers, Mr Coffee to give them baths and Bev that does such an amazing job taking care of them and all the other babies she as at the moment, including her own. For all of the people on a waiting list or, like us, waiting to take your baby home; we know it is really hard waiting, when all you want are pictures all the time, updates on their development or just want that day to come when you can take them home but trust me, the wait will be worth it. Some days I felt like a needed a support group. Just to talk to the other people on the list so I knew I wasn't sitting waiting alone. You just need to keep reminding yourself that they are better off spending the first few weeks with mom to ensure a happy, healthy future. 14 weeks in our busy, stressful lives will fly by, you'll see.
